Freddie Benson was the technical producer of the iCarly web series. In the early days of iCarly, Freddie is merely Carly and Sam’s classmate who lives across the hall from Carly at their apartment complex, but as the series progresses, Freddie became close friends with both of the girls. Freddie was quite taken with Carly for many years. Then, in typical teenage fashion, Freddie started crushing on Sam. In the end of the series, it was apparent that all three of the characters had a strong bond and would greatly miss working on iCarly when Carly calls it quits and moves to Italy.
